The main references for the Synod include the Preparatory Document which gives an overview of the theme of the Synod, "For a Synodal Church: Communion, Participation, and Mission." It also explains the objectives of the Synod and the consultation process. In addition, the Vademecum provides all the basic information to help you organize the consultation in the diocese. For specific resources, visit the "Resources Section" for official resources provided by the General Secretariat for the Synod of Bishops. Others resources provided by parishes, dioceses, congregations, association or informal organisations, and bishops' conferences are available on synodresources.org.
